How to use the kit

Three steps. Designed so they're simple enough to remember under stress — including on yourself if you're alone.

    Quickly lift upward to draw out the obstruction.

Before an emergency

A few quiet minutes now so the kit is ready when it matters.

  • Keep it somewhere reachable. A kitchen drawer, a handbag, the glovebox of the car. The kit works best when it's within arm's length, not in storage.
  • Make sure others in the home know where it is — and how it works. Anyone old enough to help should be able to find it and recall the three steps without thinking.
  • Check the masks before you put the kit away. Your kit comes with both adult and child masks. Make sure the right one for your family is on the device, and know how to swap it.
